Top lane in Classic
Top is the longest uninterrupted one-versus-one in this version. There is no free ward to see a gank coming, so the lane is played around wave position and the river timer more than around vision, and the side that pushes without a ward is the side that dies.
Teleport is what turns a won top lane into a won map: it pays for the lane’s isolation by letting it arrive somewhere that matters. Ignite is the alternative when the matchup can simply be killed, and that choice shows up in the summoner spells on each guide below.
