Jungling in Classic
The jungle starts with a machete and a decision about how much health you are willing to spend on the first clear. Camps hit back harder than they do now, and a jungler who clears greedily arrives at the first gank with no health to threaten anyone.
Objectives, not farm, set the pace. Dragon pays the whole team in gold from the first one, so a jungler who controls the bottom river is worth more than one who is two camps ahead. The guides below show the smite-side clear each champion is actually built around.
